Exchange time-wasting habits for life enhancing habits

Would you gladly exchange your time-wasting habits for some life enhancing habits?

We all do things that are really just wasting our time. How many times have we found ourselves lost in Facebook, wasting a couple of hours, yet we still do it!

We will think ‘this will only take a minute’, or ‘I’ll just have a quick look at this’, or ‘I deserve to do this now, I’ll get back to the other stuff later’…

I wonder if you realise that there is a little voice in our heads which is encouraging us to be diverted? This inner dialogue will play with us and do what it can to divert us from the things we don’t really want to do!

Go on, ask yourself: What 1 or 2 things do I do daily that are really time wasters?

What we find is that when you make a choice to just stop one of those time-wasting activities and use that time for something that is highly impactful, you get a double reward.

The first benefit you see is that you now know you can quieten your inner voice and can choose what to stop – high five!

The second benefit is using that time towards something more positive and productive.

Make a decision today to stop just one. Do this for a whole week and you’ll see a real change in your productivity.
